Submitted by Katie Breen on May 2, 2007 - 4:00pm.Jacqueline Richter-Menge, one of the researchers working with Mr. Harris and Dr. Geiger at the SEDNA ice camp, gave a presentation about her research and experiences on the ice when she passed through Fairbanks, Alaska at the end of the field season. Her presentation was delivered during a 'Science Cafe', one of many informal gatherings designed to share knowledge about the polar regions with the public throught the International Polar Year.

i wanted to know all about the animals up there right now specificly the ribbon seals which are so cute,the walrus, and the polar bears.
polar bears-if you go on there territory walking but you happened to git away without it attacking you will it let you go or will it like chase after you for a long time?
do you have anymore pictures of the ribbon seals?

dear mr.Harris and team if you get the chance, some time this week when ever you and the team have any spare time could you send me some notes or commints to put in this biography that i'm doing for school. the reason i ask is because it would make this project easy for me to do then research about it and look all over the place on the web, then just look at the notes you and the team send me.
