Ancient Buried Ice in Antarctica

Hi Jackie,

The polygons are AMAZING - but if you gave the scale on those - I missed it! What is the average diameter of these beautiful features?

Hi Mindy,
Great to hear from you.  The polygons are approximately 20 m in diameter.  They are amazing and I never get tired of photographing them from the air.  Walking over them is a different story.  You have to be very careful not to twist your ankle.  You can look at the trough photo to get an idea of the terrain.
