Hi Zach -

It was my pleasure to post your cards on my journal.

We are definitely still getting good information from SCINI.  We are seeing all kinds of cool things on the seafloor.  We are also testing SCINI to see what she can do.

The ice is melting everywhere.  They are starting to close routes that people can travel because the ice is too thin.  They usually close all travel on the sea ice in the next week or so.  That is the reason that the team will leave next week. 

I would love to be here in January when the icebreaker, the Oden arrives to cut up the last remaining ice outside of McMurdo Station.  That would be cool to watch.
