Do you have any special preparations as you get so close to the end of the expedition? Will you remain for a few more days in Alaska or all of you will fly to different goals on Nov. 1rst?
I am eager to know when Merav will be able to talk with me over the phone. Please ask her and forward her reply to me.
Thanks
Etti Dromi from Israel.

Hi Etti!
Great question, as we prepare to leave the team is faced with some
difficult decisions as to where to spend their final few days of work.
The bears are spread out and they have to choose between which bears
they should go after in the final days. Also we have to calculate the
time to get back towards Barrow.
We will likely spend much of the day on the 31st in transit and packing
up all of the supplies that the team brought with them. We are currently
scheduled to be leaving the boat via helicopter on November 1st. From
there, we have flights out of Barrow, Alaska on November 2nd. We should
all be in our homes sometime on November 3rd. We are all looking
forward to being able to see and talk with our loved ones.
Hope that answers your question!
Cristina
Hi Etti,
For some odd reason my emails to you are bouncing. So I'm using
Cristina's email to let you know I'm ok. Should be off the ship on
Sunday (if weather is ok). I'll text you when I get to cell contact.
Love you all
Merav
Meravi Shelanu
so good to see a few personal lines. you can try the email of accord. May be TAU is the problem.
We are doing ok. the new school year began I have a lot of students everywhere and some more erronds. personal and professional. I am eager to hear your voice and hope that the last days will be over and not too difficult. We all cross our fingures and pray for good news.
Here the winter is coming. now I hear the first rains "hayore" knoking on the windows. We have friends for branch tomorrow ( to celebrate the new house). Hadari will come to help me arrange.
