I was wondering about your preparations for the expedition. Are you doing anything in particular to prepare for working under such extreme conditions?

Hey Mike,Thanks for the question. There is a pretty decent picture of the seventh graders at Nobleboro and all the gear that was delivered to me in early January. The -40 degree sleeping bag and expedition parka are pretty impressive. I have also been part of weekly conference with the nine peson team and we have chatted about food shipments to Anchorage and Talkeetna, drilling equipment, risk management, helicopter loading, glacier travel, team building, crevasse extraction and protocols at the climbing base camp. The sheer volume of logistical needs is pretty amazing.
