Hello from Kansas!

Yes, another Kansas person! Where'd you get the following from this fine state? Just wanted to say HI and see how things were going down on the ice?! I chatted with Gary the other night at a science night open house we had at our high school. Over 750 people, and Gary and Cheri from CReSIS were talking up the programs! Sure brought back some memories! I wish you the best on the rest of your trip and truly hope that all is going well!

I did get a lot of great questions from kids in Kansas. They must have a lot of good teachers in Kansas. I have had a ton of great memories from this experience. My team was awesome, the dry valleys were amazing, and I learned so much. Unfortunately my hours here are limited. I am scheduled for transport in a couple of hours and then it is back to Christchurch. I am looking forward to good food, a room to myself, trees, and darkness. Thanks for all the help and advice prior to my trip.
Go STATE! (somehow I remember MSU beating Kansas last year)
