Hey Jim, Greetings from the lower 48. Thanks for sharing the awesome pictures and journal entries from Barrow, AK. I was up there in '08 doing archaeology work out at Point Barrow. Any archaeology stuff going on out there these days? Glad you made it to Pepe's and Osaka's. Fond memories of both. Are you still eating at the College? Cooking after a long field day would be tough.

Hope your work continues to go well. Keep an eye out for people with their heads down in the tundra. Say HI to Greta too, I also mentioned her in a journal entry. Best of luck with your work.

Hi Frank! Sorry it took me few days to respond. Yes, the Nuvuk project is still going strong. I am hoping to get in on the project for a day or so next week when things calm down. I chose not to eat at the college. I had 3 meals there, but otherwise cooked for myself here in the hut. Greta is great! She is flying out today I think. I will try and get the message to her. Thank you for the well wishes and keep checking the journals - slow but sure! Thanks!

Frank, yeah the tours have been great and have really added to the experience! Unfortunately, did not get a chance to do anything with the Nuvuk folks. I may try and run out there today before my flight tonight. Thanks for yout continued interest!Jim
