Hi Jim!

I've been enjoying your journals. I hope your internal clock is adjusting and that your scalp is not too scorched! Your photos are fantastic and it looks like you are having an incredible experience. (I think that sled looks REALLY hard to pull through the tundra--wow!) Were the eggs in the nest you photographed from the dunlin, or from another species of bird?

Cheers, Nell

Nell, thanks for posting! My internal clock is slowly adjusting; not fast enough in my opinion! My scalp did not get to scorched, thankfully. Yes, the eggs in the nest were from the Dunlin. The Dunlin I took the picture of is I believe the father of the eggs. He had been around that area for awhile and seemed to be helping to protect the nest. If you have any other questions, ask any time! Thanks!
Jim
