So sorry for the delay in responding - I was in travel mode and then my computer needed a new keyboard!
I plan on going in two years; I go every other year with Dr. Doran's team! It is cool! I can't wait to get back - I miss it already!

Hello there!
I have lots of "favorite" things to do in Antarctica! Just being here and absorbing my surroundings is one of my favorite things, working with such an amazing group of people is one of my favorite things, and helping with the research is a favorite thing. Perhaps my all-time favorite thing, however, is diving with Weddell Seals in Mcmurdo Sound. That is such an incredible experience; the animals are so graceful and curious. It's simply a spectacular feeling!
