Hi Karl, I followed your trip from beginning to end and so appreciated the information. Your descriptions were easy to understand and the photos made everything real. I passed your website on to my entire family and we all looked forward to the next update.
This summer was the first time I clearly understood what my son does when he goes out "in the field". I am grateful to you. Thanks again.

Thanks so much for the marvelous note. It feels so good to know the emails and photos were helpful to someone. I'm so glad you were able to get a clearer picture of what your son does. He really does a great job out there. At first I was a little intimidated by the archaeologists and the overwhelming amount of history and information they all knew. But Jeff was really great about patiently explaining things in terms a lay person could grasp. I know he would be great working with my third and fourth graders, too!
