Welcome to the ‘Fly a Flag’ Challenge

Last time when I was in Antarctica there were flags everywhere. So… that inspired me to create the Fly a Flag challenge. Now I want YOU to create your own Antarctic flag that I can take with me and fly over the ice.

    Weddell Seal Flag
Here’s an example of a flag the Pink Palace Museum made.

    How do you participate?

    Follow these simple steps:

    • Purchase a flag from the Pink Palace Museum gift shop or if you are from out of town contact me to purchase your flag

    • Decorate the flag – don’t forget to sign it!

    • Fill out the registration form

    • Select a topic you’d like to know more about. I’ll write a journal while on the ‘Ice’

    • Put your address on the stamped envelope

    • Return your flag, registration form and envelope to me by September 10, 2014

I’ll take your flag to Antarctica and fly it over the ice.

Be sure to watch for your flag to appear in one of my journals. You’ll be the sponsor of that journal.

Here’s one of the best parts- after I fly your flag over the ice, I will send it back to you so you can have your very own Antarctic flag!

Check out this video for more details on how to participate in this challenge.

You can register for this challenge and others at antarcticarevisited.com
