February 6, 2012 Adios Polar Ambassadors!

I said “goodbye for now” to the Polar Ambassadors with an after school celebration last week. At the meeting, I handed out our official t-shirts, designed by Polar Ambassador Claire Placky, and we enjoyed some penguin cake. Good times!

At the meeting, I also reminded the Polar Ambassadors to write to me through the “Ask the Team” tab. It’s easy to do.

• First, go to my website.

• Next click the “Ask the Team” tab.

Click the Ask the Team tab to communicate with me.

• Then click the “New Topic” button in the upper right corner.

• Next, fill in the "Subject" line.

• Then write your question or comment in the “Body” box.

• Please sign your name so I know who wrote the note.

• Finally, scroll down and click the “Save” button below the “Body” box.

Fill in the subject line and the body box, then hit save.

I've been so busy preparing for my trip and getting things organized for my substitute teacher that I haven't had time to think about how much I'll miss everyone. It hit me today when a few students said "goodbye." Please write to me while I’m on my expedition so that I won’t be homesick!
