This Live from IPY Event was held in celebration on the 4 December 2008in celebration of the "International Polar Day: Above the Poles"-- "Looking Out and In; Observations of, and from, the Polar Regions" including presenting researchers Ken Jezek, Bob Bindschadler, Darryn Schneider, and other South Pole telescope and space research teams.
